Find the Courage to Try Something New- Art Journal Page

Today I'd like to share a Smash/Art Journal page that I did. This page had a two-fold purpose for me. The first is that I'm working on using up some of the stash I have laying around here. As I finish with collections, I stick the extras into a drawer. Well, the drawer is getting over run with small pieces of paper and leftover chipboard and stickers. I just can't seem to throw these things out. So I figured that maybe using these Smash books I bought and are sitting there would be a good idea! The second is that I'd like to start using some of the mixed media techniques that I've been reading about, pinning, taking classes on, etc. I'm still hesitant to use most of these techniques on a layout, so I thought that  a smaller page would be less daunting. It's fun to get all messy sometimes and just let go. I didn't overthink this page (like I do my layouts sometimes). I just did it. It was very freeing and I quite enjoyed that feeling. I think I'm going to try out some other things in my Smash Book and see how I like them.
