Us

This is Laya and Aaron on New Years Eve. I used a sketch from Scrappy Sketches to do this one. I did add a few extra layers at the top. You all know how I love those layers! LOL!  There are several things I loved about doing this layout. First of all, I used an older Authentique line that I had in my stash. I really love using up some product that I have sitting here. As most of you, I have WAY too much stuff and I forget about the older lines and always want the new things. I'm determined though, to start using up some of that older stuff and stay away from the scrapbook stores. Then I pulled out my (often) neglected Cricut machine and used a cartridge that I gotten pretty cheaply off ebay. It is the Flower Shoppe and I got to play around with it and make some little co-ordinating flowers for my layout. Then, I also used up some (really) old brads from the Dollar Store. Ahhh, the joy in seeing those empty packages go in the garbage!

Materials- Pattened Paper- Authentique Journey, Cardstock- Bazzill, Word Stickers- Authentique Diction, Letter Stickers- Authentique Classic Type, Brads- Dollar Store, Pearls- Kaiser Craft, Chipboard- Maya Road, Mists- Perfect Pearls-Ranger and Tattered Angels, Leaves-iamroses, Flowers- Kaiser Craft
