Splash

So I had some time today and decided to do a sketch from Let's Get Sketchy.  Here is the sketch for this week.

And here is my take on the sketch!

Noah and Renee have a blast playing in the little pool at the lake. They throw water at each other, run around, jump up and down and whatever else kids think of to do with water. Needless to say, it's a good time and was the perfect activity for the hot weather we had this summer. I got brave and did abit of stamping on this layout ( not that you can see it that great, but it's there) lol! I used some Core'dinations cardstock for the background. You can't see it very well on this layout, but if you sand it lightly there is a design that comes through. It does show up better on the darker cardstock, but I wanted to use this cheerful yellow for this layout. For the papers and embellishments, I used Bo Bunny's Hello Sunshine line.I love this line for kids and summer! So bright, coloful and full of fun!

Materials- Patterned Paper- Bo Bunny Hello Sunshine, Cardstock- Bazzill and Core'dinations, Chipboard- Bo Bunny Hello Sunshine, Journalling Tag- Bo Bunny Noteworthy, Stickers- Bo Bunny Combo Stickers, Brads- Making Memories, Buttons- Dollar Store, Paint- Delta Ceramcoat, Twine- The Twinery, Word Stickers- from my stash, Washi Tape, Ink- Ranger Tim Holtz, Stencil- unknown

Great layout and Love these colors and if your stamping was the honey combs then I can see it and it looks great. I didnt know that you were not comfortable with stamping.
