Last March, we took Renee to Disneyland! It was such a great trip and we had so much fun, but how can you not have fun in Disneyland? I've wanted to scrap this photo for a long time, but hadn't found the perfect thing for it until today! I came upon a new site that I hadn't visited before. It's called Scrapbookers Paradise. They have online as well as actual stores. I have gone to the stores many times in the past. Their store is just phenomenal! Every time I get to Red Deer or Calgary, I make sure to stop in. Anyways, I just discovered that they have a blog! They host really great weekly challenges and I think I'll be entering alot of them! The challenge for this week was to do a layout inspired by a song. When I looked at my Disney photo, of course the first thing I thought of was the When You Wish Upon a Star theme song, so that's what I used for my title. Of course, most of my layouts are based on sketches because I just LOVE sketches. I saw the perfect one this morning at Creative Scrappers. It even had stars on it, which I was just thrilled with as they went with my theme! I still had the Echo Park For the Record Patterned Papers on my desk and thought...why not use them for this layout? I love being able to use papers for a bunch of different kinds of layouts! This line is very versatile I find.
In other news I was so excited to see that I had won a copy of the Creative Scrappers E-book! YAY! I can't wait to get my copy and start working on those yummy sketches!
